Why The Writing Process is Important

There are five different steps in the writing process, prewriting, drafting, revising, editting, and publishing. All of these have an important purpose that help you to improve your writing. In order to have a better writing then follow the writing process. 


1. Prewriting
Prewriting is a really important process, prewriting is  coming up with ideas, expanding on them and organizing all your thoughts. This process is needy because it can let your story to flow better with clearer contents.




2. Drafting
Drafting is actually started to write down your ideas, this step is the step that leads to the following steps. It briefly tells you about your story and how it will develop into a better version of your story.  This process also organizes your writing, but in a bigger scale. 

3. Revising
Revising is making big changes in your writing, Previous steps may lead to lots of mistakes and errors. This step is to fix the entire writing by replacing, adding, deleting, and rearranging. Also, this process is correcting big mistakes and errors you have made. Without this step your story and essay will have many useless parts and fewer details that is needed, also your essay and story will stay with all the big errors and mistakes.

4. Editing
This step is where you correct all your mistakes and errors, like spellings, punctuations, and grammar. Without this step, your writing will fail due to there are too many mistakes. 

5. Publishing
This step is finishing up your work and handing it to the person that you are suppose to hand it to. Without this final step, all your work would be nothing but a piece of paper.
